Exciting final for the 3rd edition of Pellicano Ladies Cup 2011 in Argentario Polo Club.
The three teams, Las Che, La Mimosa Green Season and Calcutta Polo team battled until the last second.
In the decisive game between the teams Calcutta Polo Team and La Mimosa Green Season, it seemed that victory was of the Mimosa, but in the last seconds of play the talented and charming Argentinian player Lia Salvo gave the victory to Calcutta Polo Team
This is the charm of polo, only the last sound of the bell establishes the final result.
After the exciting games and the prize giving, in the light of the Argentario beautiful sunset, Pellicano Hotel offered an aperitif to the audience and teams accompanied by a tasting of wines from wineries of Maremma Wine & Food Association
Every year the prestigious partnership between Argentario Polo Club and Pellicano Hotel Relais & Chateaux has given and gives to the audience elegant and excellent sporting events.

It would be nice to know who the ladies that played were and who is standing in the winning photo. Also would have been nice if photographer could have had the girls tilt their trophies so that we could see what they won. I know it is not your fault Lynn, just wondering thats all. If we want polo to grow we need to be aware of these things when posting articles so the general public can get some feeling of knowing the players.
