The Polo Report
By Steve Crowder

There will be no fixes lose and pack your bags, it is time to hit the heat because no matter where you go it is hotter than here. There are two very big games tomorrow and they will be for real. I guarantee it. It is going to be a high time and maybe high tide and I hope sunshine.

Game one is is at 1 pm and could easily be the new Champion of 2011. It has 3-time semi finalist and 2 finals this season. ERG has a little trouble at the next level, but they may have found a cure called Sebe as in Sebastian  Merlos.  He is 10 goals in England and 9 here in the U.S.   Sebe has the heart of a lion. He is here to play polo, no doubt.  Sebe plays to win and he does it every day that he plays this game.   He has plenty of help in the form of Paco.  When quiet he is deadly, but if he gets vocal then who knows. Miguel Torres is 2 and he is going to work. If it happens it will be because of him.  Scott Woods, Captain and Patron, has outplayed most if not all of the Patrons here. As a rule when he is on, so is his team and they have 1 cup so far. Look out, the team that beat them in the next, so get ready to rumble. Lucchese is coming off a spotless season last year, but that is history and it means nothing. At 1 pm tomorrow Adolfo Cambiaso is the best player on the Planet, but if the stars are lined up it is a game no matter what. He will hit more balls and be is faster than anyone else and will usually outhorse all others. He also hits farther, but it only counts between the goal. This game could be the BEST of the season.

Game 2

PIAGET VS AUDI
It will not be fixed, I was told, and I do think as uneven as it may seem it is not going to be over until the lady sings. Piaget has more than a Pigs chance in hell as I was told today.  They have youth, speed and they have nothing to lose.  The big thing they have is a Superstar who has been forgotten … Miquel Astrada.  He was 10 goals for many years, lost a couple and then adios. Well last week you might have seen, but maybe not as it was over early , Miguel Astrada showed he is way off from being gone. He played 10 goals for the first 30 minutes and then he may have galloped as when you are winning by 10 do you kill the horse? Miguel  is back and he is on the attack. He maybe 10 when he leaves this year, like on Monday.  He has some help no doubt. Melisa Ganzi never quits working and she wants to beat her Honey, so lets do it. Juan Bolleni was awesome last weekend and he was Secretary  of Defense.  Jason Crowder …well I do not want to brag… but he is holding his own and I see no reason to change. So get off the couch or out of the water and get a cold Bud. Come and see those PONIES RUN DOWN SUNDAY LANE ON THURSDAY for free.

see ya.
