I am sorry to say these words, which are brilliant, that came from a Superstar of this Game. He is probably the most recognized face in the game of polo and his name is Nacho Figueras. He is MR. POLO and I doubt you will argue this. I recently got an email from him saying he would love to help Polo in California and he will soon be here. Lets get on board! No club other than San Diego has the crowds. Yes we will have a big turnout in Santa Barbara on Sunday at the finals, but when do we not. Nacho is a 7-goal polo player already and the headliner on shows like Opera. He always adds a super touch to an event and pulls in crowds of 15 thousand in New York at Governor Island. Palm Beach already has been a big hit and in LA. With all the stupid stuff in the desert he knows “united” we have a chance, but in fractions we just keep going down hill.
I also have a comment for the “Friend of Eldorado” who commented on one of my blog posts. I doubt you have done as much for Eldorado as I have over the last 25 years or are likely to do, so just sign your name on your comments. I love that you must talk, but are a no name. I have no problem with Eldorado Polo Club, just the people who do not care about the sport. And who are running it south. Like those who like to whine, but never face the music. At least Al Haagen of Empire seems to care about the game. Sure he wants to make money, why do you get up every morning … to spend it? I doubt it. Tell me your side of the story and sign your name. I am all ears.
Other than this, lets use Nacho to build the sport. That is what he does so well and there is a reason he is the BEST AT IT and he brings the golden mallet.
