Pretty quiet today. The 1 horse in isolation slowly returned to a normal temperature this afternoon without treatment. Tests results will be available late Tuesday afternoon. Hopefully, this will be our last case. After tomorrow both time and science should start to be on our side.
If we get good news, stick and ball should resume on Wednesday. Please pay attention to the conditions set up by each club. We will still be under quarantine so it imperative we all have the rules straight. There will still be a “no in, no out” policy in effect for the polo club complex until the quarantine is lifted.
We are almost there folks. Stay focused.
Dr. Manno, you and the Polo Club have been a model for coping with this EHV-1 outbreak. I have really appreciated reading your daily blog. All the best to you in the PoloZONE!
Thanks for the feedback! Dr. Mike Manno, DVM has been great about sending us the daily reports and taking the time to manage the quarantine details.
