AND SILENT CHRIS Maloney owns San Diego. Over in the UK it was a big win for Tom Barrack, Patron of Piocho Ranch, as he had an awesome game against the best in the World . . . Dubai led by none other than Adolfo Cambiaso. They won the first round of the biggest tournament in the World where 20 teams are competing at the 22-goal level. The story is that Tom Barrack was assigned to take out former 10-goal star Piki Alberdi and Tom did it well. Its a very rare occasion to beat Adolfo Cambiaso no matter what tournament or position you play. Well done Tom Barrack.

Over on this side of the water it was 12-goal finals in Santa Barbara. Ken Berry teamed up with the Walkers/Long Beach and Kicked A** as they slaughtered Chadmar/Nicoma. Berry took the 4-goaler out often on the opposing team and left the door wide open. Frederico Von Wernich was a solo man today and that will not work. He is very good, but 4 vs. 1 you lose.

In the consolation finals it was Windsor Capital without the Governor (Pat Nesbitt) blowing Klentner Ranch away as two vistors James Uihlien and Brian Boyd scored 10 goals and needed no help from Jofie (Joseph Stuart) and the Palomino (Jason Crowder). The Triple J’s routed Klentner Ranch. The weather was so nice with a few signs of smoke, but a very nice day. We had a decent crowd too. Santa Barbara is getting ready to head into the high-goal season in about 10 days.

Party town (San Diego PC) starts a new tournament next week and it will be the Rossmore Cup. I think they had the finals of the Fernando Gutierrez Cup today, which is an awesome tournament and the prize is like the Widow very fine and maginficent Lady.

It was Chris Maloney who makes San Diego tick. They kept it in house as he joined up with the Doctor and another Doctor in the form of Mike Mano. They slid right through to stop Bryon Ward and Chris Collins, Jr. in a close 10 Goal Final. In the 4-goal Finals it was Ron ”Bones” Bonaguidi taking it with Hanalei Bay over Joy Bancroft and crew (Jaybird).

I am not sure who won the finals in Houston, but will soon know. On an another note from the UK it was Carlos Gracida who will soon be here in Santa Barbara subbing for Marcos Heguy and beat his US open team Zacara. So as the polo world turns we will see you where they play POLO.

Congratulations to Ken Berry, who for years was a warhorse on the field and his return was awesome. He smoked guys 25 years his junior and who just thought they were good. This will make them angry, but that’s the way it is. Ken ate the other boys UP! Danny Walker must of seen the fire in KB’s eye’s because he put him on the team and he read them well. See ya.
