Yes it was just another Polo Game but if you believe that just go Home. The amazing thing to me was what made it happened and how it happened on the field. First the field is probably the most important thing in any Tournament and there are no conditions any worse and if you think about it there is no place in the World they could have pulled it off on a day like this . Last year I thought it was incredible with so much rain early in the game but this time it was so much before the game and in England only would have the better part of 15 thousand people went out and flattened like that knowing there shoes would be history . THEY love good Polo and they got it . To me it was a fantastic game and the Horses were unreal I watched the replay and so many good ones what do you say, the last great one wins and he did . The Stallion of Poblitis’s was incredible in the last 4 minutes I actually have a story to tell about 5 years ago this colt was at Alfonso Pieres and he was saying this is an amazing horse he was also selling us horses , it was a stud and maybe 2 years old or 3 and I thought it does not work for a Patron in Phoenix so never mind well I believe it would have been a very good horse for my Son. In re wacthing the video I see Poblito actually played horse twice he got off a Gray before 3 rd chukkar to shoot a penalty shot and got on the black and made it then changed back to Gray and then returned in the 6th and did he ever return a frigging Missile but the Gray who Pelon played was also amazing and it played a lot more but it was defintley 3 minutes to much when it hooked up with the Black in the last 249 seconds . Mr Kirby also had some major speed on numerous occasions and a whole lot of try through’t the game. Watch the replay you will see the Brothers George and Charles as well as Adrian in so many plays the whole game . This was a final which deserves to be on TV Live . Well done all of you who made it happen. I have no doubt this is the greatest venue for Polo in the World sure Argentina is bigger but it is not the same the US Open is higher rated but not in the ballpark the weather is better anywhere and the social bullshit is but there is no place like the Gold Cup rain, sleet , snow it just does not matter.
