Sunday July 22: Results
The second round of the Lucchese America cup was played today under beautiful sunny Santa Barbara skies. In the 1pm game Lucchese defeated Farmer’s and Merchants Bank 12 to 11 and then in the 3pm game Grants Farm beat Mansour 12 to 9.
Friday, July 20th: Results
Today at Santa Barbara we had two very close and exciting games. In the 11am game Grants Farm narrowly beat Lucchese 13 to 12 thanks to two last chukker goals from Jeff Hall. In the 2pm game Mansour and Farmers and Merchants Bank battled for 6 chukkers and ended in a tie at 7 to 7 but in the over time period Ben Soleimani was able to break away and put in the game winning goal. We will be having second round Lucchese America Cup action this Sunday at 1 and 3 pm. Attached is the roster for the teams (with the only exception being Sebastian Merlos for Adolfo Cambiaso) and the schedule for game play in the Lucchese America Cup.
