It started early with Gonzalo Pieres, Jr., looking like Pop, as he seemed like he was a 727. He flew past everyone on his way to many goals all morning long. Luchesse seemed stuck. Audi goes to 2 and 0 and they are now headed to a battle with Piocho, who proved they are never done. Birthday Boy, Memo Gracida, showed some great form in the 6th. Long Beach came back from 7 down, went up by 2, but it was not over as Memo Gracida made a brilliant neck shot that recharged the boys from the Ranch. They went on to win by one in the final chukker. In the final of the day it was ERG smoking past Klentner Ranch. Now they have to cheer for them to get past Andy Busch and the Green Machine or they will play for the consolation. It comes down to 2 big games on Friday as Piocho Ranch and Audi hook up and then Grant’s Farm has to beat Klentner Ranch.
Across the water it was England holding off Ruki Baillieu and the Aussies as they head to the Gold Coast. New York had too much water so action was light in NY, NY. They will have to wait for another day. Soto Grande (Spain) started action as the Bronze Cup kicked off as well, so there is lots of polo around the planet. See ya.
