Audi, Zacara, Lucchese and Grant’s Farm are the final four teams in the Pacific Coast Open Semi Finals. All teams are from Bracket A. It came down to the last 2 minutes in the end after 16 games. It looks like this:
Audi is #1 as when pushed they showed they really are at least 24-goals in a 20-goal tournament. They smoked Nick Roldan and the 3-goaler took his stick. They had + 5 net and when needed 10 more they got them real quick. I missed the game, but heard it was 9 to 0 in 9 minutes. ERG was in the wrong place today.
Also in Paradise @ Piocho Ranch it was Piocho and the Master of it all, Tom Barrack, stopping Lucchese in the final minutes to win their 1 st and to knock Lucchese out of the top spot. It was by only 1, but it was to 3 and 1. Audi was already 4 and 0. The games then moved back to SBPC and it was Zacara taking a snooze and drilling Grand Champions/Klentner into the cellar by several. Lyndon Lea was smoking to goal often and quickly leading the ZZZZZZZZZ charge to the semis.
The final game of the day lived up to its promise as we all knew if Grant’s Farm would be in with a win and if not, ERG even with their morning slaughter, would be right back into it. So the boys in Blue, Long Beach, with nothing to gain came out slow, but they heated up. It was down to the wire with a late 6th chukker foul saving Grant’s Farm and ending ERG’s final hope.
So now its like this on Thursday: The time is 10 A.M. In the PCO its Audi vs. Lucchese. They have about a 5 goal spread. In the other game at 12 noon it will be Grant’s Farm vs. Zacara. In the Santa Barbara Cup, also on Thursday, I do not know who plays whom yet.
The Governor, Pat Nesbitt, returned to the field this weekend and came out the winner of the pro pool as he scored 15 goals over the weekend and led his team to the trophy stand with the Lawman. It was a good day in Santa Barbara, not much sun but a whole lot of fun.
Down south in the finals of the Spreckels Cup 6-Goal, it was Pretty lady Lisa Bosstick and her Madison Square doing it. Tomas Obregon, Ashton Wolf and Jay Thorton smoked on into the trophy room over Princeps with Dirk and Alisha Wray. It was a very good tournament. I think there were 6 teams. Everyone played each other and there were 10 overtimes during it all. Well done Madison Square!
Back east in the Hampton’s it was Peter Brant and his Trophy Carting White Birch winning the big one and leaving town with a truck load of silver for the summer. Might be time for a World Cup as Triple Crowns seem to be in style. White Birch was landing their 3rd, so was Ahmibah and Jeffrei and Pablo McDonough as they won the Triple Crown over in Sotogrande in Spain. They swept all 3 Tournaments. Now, with only two games to go, there is a chance for Audi to make it 3 of 3. I think it would be a very good World Cup 20-goal tournament to see them all. Lets work on that, can you big boys? It will continue on this week in Santa Barbara as their final is on Sunday the 7th. Come on out and enjoy the Sept. sun its on its way.
See ya.
