Gearing Up for the 2014 USPA National Youth Tournament Series Polo Competition

Thanks everyone for an amazing inaugural year of Junior Polo with the launch of the 2013 USPA National Youth Tournament Series. Now it is time to start thinking about 2014. Here are some important updates for you to know.
HOME ZONE – A Junior Polo Player’s club affiliation as of January 1, 2014 will determine your home zone so make sure you renew your USPA membership.
BIRTHDATE – Junior Players born after 1/1/1995 will be eligible to compete in NYTS and are also eligible for $50 USPA Junior Membership and you may request a handicap for no additional fee.
PLAY ANYWHERE – Players are no longer required to compete in their home zone in order to qualify for National Championships. You may be awarded ALL-STAR at any qualifier and your name will be added to the list of eligible players to be chosen to represent your home zone.
DOUBLE THE EXCITEMENT – This year there will be two levels of competition at NYTS Championships.
EXTENSION – The NYTS season has been extended so your club can now host a NYTS qualifier as early as March 1, 2014.
