No one was quite sure if he was going to be playing on Friday, in the opening games of the 2014 26-goal C. V. Whitney Cup, but Adolfo had a direct hand in Valiente’s first four goals in their 11-9 win over Audi.

“He paid he was fine the other day,” said Joy Ford, the 6’ 1” blonde beauty who has taken a shine to polo.  “I spoke with him after Valiente’s last game and asked him if he was going to be playing on Friday,” she added, “He didn’t say anything,” she said, “ he just smiled.  I think that he knew all along that he would be on the field today,” she said.”

Cambiaso only scored two goals in the Valiente win, but his ball placement and pinpoint passing were responsible for a majority of Valiente’s goals.

“Friday was his first game in Florida this winter,” added Ford.  “I can’t wait to see him play in Wednesday’s semifinals.

Valiente will be facing the defending champion in Alegria (Julian Mannix, Clemente Zavaleta, Mariano Aguerre and Hilario Ulloa) on Wednesday.
