Leigh Breechen, Santi Trotz, Patrick Uretz, and Jesse Bray faced tough competition in the final against ERG led by 6 goaler Jose Donoso and teammates Martin Muñoz, Scott Woods, and Felipe Vercellino. Jose Donoso started off the match scoring back to back goals for ERG who began the match with a one goal handicap. After back and forth runs and missed goal attempts for both teams, Jesse Bray was able put one on the board for Film Finances to end the first chukker 3-1. Film Finances stepped up both their offense and defense during the second chukker. Leigh Breechen’s strong defense and goals scored by Bray and Trotz tied the score 3-3. Jose Denoso took control of the third chukker to put ERG up 4-3 at the half. Scoring picked up during the second half with Jesse Bray adding two goals and Patrick Uretz adding a third in the 4th chukker. A fast breakaway by Scott Woods set up Donoso to score two more goals in the chukker. Film Finances managed to pull ahead in the end of the 5th chukker to finish 8-7. Film Finances maintained a lead throughout the 6th chukker. A back shot over the boards seconds before the 30 second bell ended the game with Film Finances up by 1 goal, 10-9. Muñoz and Vercellino each scored a goal in addition to Donoso’s 6. Jesse Bray led the scoring effort by Film Finances with 5 goals to add to Uretz’s 3 and Trotz’s 2 goals. Santi Trotz was awarded MVP. Jose Donoso’s mare Gina was awarded Best Playing Pony.
