POLO DO WIN BARRANTES FINAL
Michel Dorignac scored all of Polo Do’s 10 goals in the finals of The Hector and Susan Barrantes Memorial Cup to claim the Most Valuable Player Award and the championship, triumphing over Mt. Brilliant B with a final score of 10-8.
Mt. Brilliant B was led by Nick Cifuni with 3 goals in the middle chukkers to tie the score and Whystle Uys with 3 in the final two chukkers as the runners-up attempted a comeback. Willie Hartnett had 2 scores in the first half to get Mt. Brilliant B on the board early.
The best playing pony award went to Rosebud, Uys’ mount in the fifth chukker.
