It was Rancho Amistad sneaking by Go Clothing squad after Go Clothing led by 3 goals at 1/2 time. Alvaro Tadeo and the Wolfman (Ashton Wolf) came back fired up and eliminated the scoring machine of Hyde (Steve Hyde) and Kiger (Robert Kiger) in a big grudge match.

In the high-goal (4-goal) finals it was Double Eagles blowing by Aspen Oaks as they were undefeated in their Fall run to date. Just like Adolfo Cambiaso down South in Argentina. It was hard to stop Double Eagles and it was a good game to watch, even if it was not a 39 vs. 37 goal match like yesterday at the Argentine Open Finals when Lolo Castagnola scored a big one called the golden goal to secure the victory for La Dolfina at Palermo.

I did read a rather silly statement by the Argentine press today. They were talking about the Olimpia Prize which is a sportsman trophy. I have no problem with two of the nominees who were Adolfo Cambiaso and Miguel Astrada, but the 3rd one is a joke or an extra name. They list Agustin Merlos as a sportsman. I think that is the most unlikley person I can think of to be a Polo sportsman. It must have been a joke as. In Argentina they have much tougher umpiring than we do here in the U.S. in terms of on field disipline. So it has to be wrong. If its not, it is still wrong unless whinning, flopping and crying are sportsman-like behaviors. Who knows? That’s the way I see it, just an opinion.
