Indio, CA (November 24, 2008) – By overpowering the opposition by a combined score of 13 – 3 in two games, Bill Garlock’s Park Lane polo team was victorious in the return of the 3 goal Roadrunner Tournament to the Eldorado Polo Club. Advancing to the finals with an easy win over Deep Water Grill on Saturday, Garlock’s foursome continued the pressure and defeated Empire by a score of 7 – 2 in the Sunday final. Empire advanced to Sunday’s game by virtue of their 7 – 4 win over Aspen Oaks.
Rolando Obregon scored three times from the field, Garlock was perfect on three penalty tries, and Manny Rodriquez added one to earn the victory. Adding to a one goal handicap award at the start, Antonio Juarez had one for Empire.
Play continues at Eldorado next Saturday and Sunday with the two weekend 3 goal Go Honey tournament.
