Christopher Kirsch, polo player on the German national side and multiple German champion in the highest playing league, is the new Head Trainer at the Engel & Völkers + Land Rover Polo School. “We are delighted that we have been able to win over such an experienced and passionate polo player as Christopher Kirsch,” said Christian Völkers, CEO of the Engel & Völkers AG and Founder of the Engel & Völkers + Land Rover Polo School.
Ever since he was a child, Christopher Kirsch has been passionate about the game of polo. His father was also a keen polo player and got his son involved in the fascinating sport when he was just six years old.
The Engel & Völkers + Land Rover Polo School currently offers courses in Hamburg, Berlin, Argentina and on Majorca. The Engel & Völkers + Land Rover Polo School will be extending the number of courses on offer at three additional locations in Germany, in response to the high level of demand from both beginners and more advanced players. As Head Trainer, Christopher Kirsch will have a key role in the school’s expansion as he will be training the new trainers. The participants will receive standardised teaching at each location and can train up in five steps to become a polo player fit for tournaments.
Christopher Kirsch is the initiator and organiser of the German Polo Tour and received the highest trainer status from the “Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA)” in 2015. The HPA is the official institution for the European sport of polo, meaning that it is actively involved in the execution of regulatory decisions.
