Well it was perfect day for final Polo weekend in southern California the Weather was perfect the fields tired but ok and a decent crowd here in SB and I hear a bit huge in SD at Del Mar as party town usually spanks us in that dept. No results from Will Rogers or SD at this time.
Here in SB it was the finals of the last 8 goal of the year and it was a great game for most of it Aqua Dulce VS Klentner Ranch and AD held a lead most of the game and in the 4 th KR started to come back and were tied late in the 6th and I seen something that I thought was gone with new professional umpires. Back in the early 90’s we had a couple of players who often pulled the soccer flop to stop a game for there own good and it got to a point where rules were put into stop it and it did until today and it looks like it is back. I think Umpires should have seen it as were 10 yards away but it was the perfect flop as a player was beat bad and opponent gone to goal not that was a guarantee it would be the winning goal but a very good chance of it and off goes a very good rider and looks up to see action then falls back down and gets the whistle to stop play then resumes after a brief period. I was so happy they added this rule back then rule 21 paragraph e . I THINK STRIPES NEED TO READ IT AGAIN because I think it was done today and it worked for them . There was no danger unless Umpire was going to run over him and if could set up and look before laying down you tell me and I was not alone many of us have been here for few decades and seen it and all had the same thought .
