Polo got underway at El Dorado and Empire Polo as Empire started last Sunday and both clubs in action this week . That’s the way it is the Desert you play Polo if you tear up a field we fix it and you can use it next week and besides that we have 25 fields so there will be a spare and that is the way it is . Once I said it will be hard to play today to Mr Lion Al. H #3 and he said fix it we are playing and we did . That is the way it is , We will play Polo . Even the big boys drop by The Mannix’s Julian and Fred of Canada but both big sticks in Argentina Fred being the highest rated North American in Argentina and Julian Amateur of the Season there stopped by there place in the Desert last week for a big game on there way to the Dominion and may well be the entry to High Goal Polo coming back to the desert as well. It is an awesome venue with room for 3 more fields add those tot he other 25 and WHY would you go anywhere else. They do have better Polo on the East coast because they never been out West . One season here and they may never go back . We have it all weather, skiing Snow that is , Beach Mountains, golf and tennis unlimited and Hollywood and Rodeo Drive all closer than Disney World from Palm Beach and we have Disney Land as well even closer. Jump on a plane and come and see for yourself , we will give you a free tour and Lunch at the Tavern and you will not want to go back . That is Desert Hospitality .
Back to POLO down South like Florida it is the Joe Barry and it is heating up as a few Desert Rats like Sapo Casset ,Jeff Hall ,Jason Crowder, Jessie Bray, Mike Matz, Bob and Robert J are all down that way and Jeff, Sappo and Jason are having at it in the big ones Sapo is undefeated playing with Costi his cousin who may have played some peewee polo here as well and they are playing with the Big Texan Jeff Hilderbrand and Tonkawa and are at 3 and 0 and won there bracket Jeff is with Michael Bickfords La Indiana and did survive to reach the Quarters, Jason is with Mt Brillant and they made it to the Quarters on Sunday . Jessie gets underway in the Grand Champions tomorrow with Audi . It looks like the 20 goal is doing well and has a good amount of teams 8 in the Joe Barry and I hear more for the Ylvisaker coming up next . There was some spectacular play today from Patron of Mt Brilliant as Bow Goodman was amazing him and Grant Ganzi have to be the stand out Patrons so far in the 20 goal and that is fabulous to see how much there teammates depend and trust them to make the play and take care of getting it done.
I think I might have LIED after 6 yrs it is raining in the DESERT !!!!!!! It will only make it nicer if that’s a word.
