Mansour Battles Braveheart/Nicoma for
The 2009 Presidents Cup at Santa Barbara Polo Club

Ben Soleimani, Justin Klentner, Matt Walker, and Matt Ladin for Mansour, went against Ryan Renker, Joel Ladin, Joel Baker, and Roberto Zedda for Braveheart/Nicoma in the finals of the Presidents Cup. Mark Renker suffered a mild concussion on Saturday after a fall and was replaced by his brother Ryan. We are happy to report that Mark is fine and all tests were negative.

Mansour had the match in hand from the beginning as Matt Ladin scored a game high of six goals to lead 8-4 after four chukkers. But Braveheart/Nicoma came back to within one goal after scoring four penalty goals from the mallet of Joel Baker and Roberto Zedda. But Mansour was not to be denied as Matt Walker scored two goals in the last chukker to seal the win. Line score was as follows: 3-1,  6-2, 7-3, 8-4, 9-7, 11-9.
