302 POLO AND LOBSTER RACES TO HIGHLIGHT AIKEN THIS WEEK!

Aiken, SC – With the USPA Hall of Fame Challenge Cup presented by Ag South and hosted by 302 Polo well underway with two games on Wednesday and the finals scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2009, the 25th annual Lobster Races coming up this Friday May 1, 2009 and the Aiken Equine Charities Cup to benefit the Hitchcock Woods Foundation on Saturday May 2, 2009, this week in Aiken features the best of entertainment and competitive sports.  On Wednesday, April 29, 2009, the USPA Hall of Fame Challenge Cup will feature two decisive games, Crestview (2-0) versus Silverstone Farm (1-1) at 3PM at Isinya and Mavoffice.Com (1-1) versus Foxdale/Winfield (0-2) at Meadow Hill, with the final on Sunday, May 2 at 3 PM at Loughrea to be determined by the results of these two contests.  Along with the opportunity to attend two exciting polo matches, the first 100 people to attend the 5 PM game on Wednesday at Meadow Hill will receive FREE tickets for admission to the 25th edition of the Lobster Race on Friday, May 1 in downtown Aiken.

302 Polo’s spring season begins in April and features events such as the high-profile 30-goal Aiken Equine Charities Cup – a world-class match featuring top professional players to benefit Hitchcock Woods Foundation.  It takes place at New Bridge Polo on May 2nd in the afternoon.  The prestigious USPA Ladies Invitational benefiting the National Breast Cancer Foundation and the High Goal Series of Aiken featuring the USPA Monty Waterbury and USPA Silver Cup presented tournaments take place later in the year during September and October.
