(DENVER) – With Colorado children in mind The Denver Polo Classic returns to the exclusive Polo Reserve Development July 10th-12th.

Now in its 22nd year, the Denver Polo Classic is a three-day event of exciting entertainment to benefit children’s charities in Colorado.  Under its signature white tent the Denver Polo Classic offers guests a sampling of metro Denver’s best food, wine and champagnes, along with world-class polo.

The Denver Polo Classic kicks-off Friday, July 10th with the Capital Grille Black-tie Ball.  While enjoying a fabulous dinner, guests will dance the night away to live music and have the opportunity to bid on luxury goods and once-in-a-lifetime vacation packages during a Live Auction.

Saturday, qualifying matches are held on Family Day at the Denver Polo Classic.  Bring a blanket and sit on the grass with your family and friends or enjoy a wide selection of food, wine and soft drinks under the tent.  Children 12 and under are admitted free of charge.

On Sunday, the 2009 Denver Polo Classic Champion will be crowned.  Polo fans will be decked out in their finest garden attire and ready soak in the high-flying action on the field and fully stocked bars under the tent, as well as food from some of the area’s finest restaurants.

The Denver Polo Classic is a production of the Denver Active 20/30 Children’s Foundation, a non-profit men’s service organization for business leaders between the ages of 20 and 39.  Last year, Denver Active 20/30 raised more than $900,000 and funded more than 50 charities.

The Denver Polo Classic will be held at the Polo Reserve Development located just west of Santa Fe and Mineral in Littleton.  For ticket information visit: www.denverpolo.org
