Meet two more of the Santa Barbara Patrons . These two are the movers and
shakers of the real financial world.
Lyndon Lea 1 goal
A very athletic man and maybe the youngest of the Patrons. Lyndon is about 40 years old. He is also the fittest player here either pro or patrons. Lyndon is the main man in a company called Lion Capital and he is English, but spend 7 or 8 years living in Botswana and South Africa when he was young. That makes is accent a little confusing. He is fairly new to polo, but he has tasted success because he demands it . Lyndon may well be the best- mounted player in the World and he should make it to a fairly high rating if he ever stops to play polo for more than a month at a time. His team is Zacara and he will be here Sunday afternoon. Lyndon will be easy to find on the field he uses white breast collar covers and will usually be going very fast.
John Muse 0 goal
John leads a team called Lucchese named after a famous Texas boot company. He is a Texan as well, like a couple other patrons here in Santa Barbara. He comes from Dallas and is in the money business too. John is a big fund man for many things including the boot Co. His team is out of the running for the Pacific Coast Open, but they will play this Sunday at 1 p.m. John took a big jump into the polo world by buying out Scott Devon’s top string of horses and it has definitely improved his game .
Their are two more Patrons I’ll introduce to you tomorrow.
See ya.
