Careyes, Mexico – April 29 – During the opening match, the United States settled in the last of the five chuckers programmed per game when beating 9 goals to 9 the team which took Dominican Republic’s place as it did not attend the pre Championship appointment alleging internal problems. Americans had a great beat despite the fact they knew it was an already won match. Nevertheless they used the game to practice – they freed the horses and performing at a high level in order to adjust their numbers to the second general site. This suggests that the final battle may be between the two big countries of the Americas.

It worth mentioning that the North American cadre has a great development of Polo, to the point of sending two minor siblings to this event – Santiago and Miguel Torres, 13 and 16 year-old respectively. They went right t the offensive base to be part of the scoring gang to the combined cadre of Mexico and Italy, lead by the pro polo player Roberto González Gracida.

Next journey will take place next Wednesday at Court 2 of the magnificent Careyes Polo Club, in the Mexican Pacific Coast, with the timetabling of games between United States-Guatemala and Canada- Dominican Republic.
