Pro Pool @ San Diego Polo Club – Four teams at the six to eight goal level took to the field in hopes of winning the first week of the pro pool. Each patron brings a pro player as a half team and the club makes the teams for the tournament. The first round had Madison Square/MonteVerde defeat surfERdoc, M & M was led by five goals from Ellen Greenhill and two from Lisa Bosstick. Scott Dlugos scored four and Bill Ziering two in a losing cause.
The other first round match saw Adeptus defeat Gypsy with Bryon Ward scoring three and Colleen Wilson one for Adeptus. The two winners faced off on Sunday with MadisonSquare/MonteVerde narrowly defeating Adeptus. For the MandM team Ellen Greenhill scored six more goals and Lisa Bosstick added five, for Adeptus Bryon Ward added three goals and Colleen Wilson two to make it a close match. Following the match Tracee Mulvaney hosted a fiesta with fajitas, frozen margaritas and pina coladas for the players, capping off a fun weekend.
