Nicolas Roldan put on an awesome scoring display in the opening match of the Glynn Memorial Tournament, as he accounted for 11 of Endeavour’s 13 goals, leading his team to a 13-11 victory over Cinque Terre. Six of his goals were from the field. With the match tied 11-11, an Endeavour player was unable to get his stick on the ball, near the goal, but Roldan galloped over to grab it and shoot it in. Then, with 19 seconds remaining Cinque Terre was called for a penalty and Roldan knocked in the penalty shot.
At the half Endeavour led 7-4. They were up 9-7 after four chukkers. In the fifth chukker Cinque Terre got three goals from Andres Weisz (all penalty shots) and a field goal from Chino Fraysinnet, while Endeavour was limited to a penalty shot goal by roldan. Then in the final chukker Cinque Terre was unable to score.
Fraysinnet led his team with five goals, while Weisz had four goals.
