In the first round of games in the Lisle Nixon 12 goal at SBPRC, Long Beach defeated Gehache 12-8 and Antelope defeated La Karina/ Mansour 14-10.

The first game was a little late starting because Long Beach team captain Danny Walker got stuck in traffic on his way up from LA. But Danny did not have any trouble with polo traffic, as he scored 5 goals to lead his team to victory. Glencito Holden was high scorer for Gehache with 4 goals.

The 3pm game between La Karina/ Mansour and Antelope started off even, but Antelope steadily pulled away. Santiago Trotz dove into every play to come up with the ball for Antelope and send it to his teammates flying to goal. Julio Gracida in particular was on fire for Antelope, scoring a game high 7  goals. La Karina/ Mansour gave Antelope a good run for their money, but in the end Antelope ran away with the game.

On Sunday May 16th, Antelope plays Gehache at 1pm and La Karina/ Mansour plays Long Beach at 3pm
