Calgary, Alberta (August 19, 2007) – With victories on Sunday, Millarville and Tusk Energy advanced to the final game of the J.C. Palmer Memorial 12 Goal Tournament on Thursday evening, August 23, 2007.
Tusk pretty much cruised in a 9 – 5 win over Cymric Glen while Millarville was forced to break a 9 – 9 tie late in the sixth to win by one at 10 – 9 over Cam Clark Ford (formerly Broward Yachts). The victories left the winners with identical records of 3 – 0 and sets up a perfect scenario for their game – rescheduled for the finals date.
Cam Clark will play Palmer Ranch on Wednesday evening in their final game which becomes the consolation as both have 1 – 2 records.
