It that time of year again in Houston! Attached is information on next week’s 15th Annual Houston Polo Club Ladies Tournament, including teams, sponsors and directions to all of the venues. The weather has finally been cooperating this week and we are hoping for more of the same for the Ladies Tournament.

Tournament Format
- There are three flights of teams in the Tournament – WCT Qualifier Flight, Invitational Flight and Exhibition flight.
- Four teams will compete in the WCT Qualifier League. The goal ratings of the teams are 2 to 3 goals. All players in the WCT Qualifier League will be qualified to play in the 2010 Women’s Championship Tournament Finals, to be held in Wellington, Florida.
- Four to five teams will compete in the Invitational Bracket. Teams are drawn, and the players on each team will be announced on Thursday evening at the Welcome Players party.
- A four-chukker Exhibition Match for our newer lady polo players will be held on Sunday.
- Both Qualifier and Invitational matches will be 4-chukker matches.
- Tailgating / Food and Drinks are permitted at all games including the Sunday Finals.
- The Sunday Finals will feature tailgate polo and wine tasting under the Oak Tree. Admission requirements are the same as for other Sunday polo matches.
