First Annual Coconut Cup played at Careyes Polo Club on the weekend of January 20 and 21. Players from Washington, Oregon and Calgary, Canada as well as Giorgio Brignone , owner of the Polo Club and Resort located on the Mexican Pacific Ocean. Play was fast paced but low scoring as the final game ended in a 2 to 2 tie with the USA team of Cody, Catlin and Suzy Dix with Jason Larvik scored the last goal between the two bells of the final chukker. The teams decided it was a perfect ending to the game. The ladies tournament will be starting the week of January 23 – 28.
