1st Family Polo Day

Samuel A. Ramirez Jr. will be hosting a charity polo match for the Catholic Big Sister and Big Brothers.(CBSBB) This will replace the Haviland Hollow Fall Open from last year.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 19th from noon to 4pm. Guests will be greeted by valet parking and then led to a tent where there will be a buffet lunch, unlimited wine and beer, silent auction and children’s activity field (complete with petting zoo and pony rides) for the kids. The tent overlooks the polo field so all guests will have access to the matches. It will certainly be more formal then a tailgate party, but still a casual, family event. Tickets are on sale via our website, https://secure.cbsbb.org/cgi-bin/cbb/polo_event.html, phone or through our mailed invitation (to be sent out tomorrow). Adult tickets are $100, children tickets are $50.
For anyone who would like to purchase a VIP ticket ($150), we will have a champagne reception with Soledad O’Brien on the deck overlooking the polo field. This will feature plush chairs, access to the house and a better view of the field.
About CBSBB:
The Catholic Big Sisters and Big Brothers (CBSBB) is a non-profit, non-sectarian community based organization serving New York City, dedicated to helping youth and their families through free gender specific programming. We support the special needs of girls, boys and their families by providing comprehensive mentoring, counseling and skill-based programming free of charge.
We will have 3 teams and play in a round robin format, one pro per team. Please let me know who is available.
It should be a fun afternoon, about 150 people should be in attendance. You are welcome, but not obligated, to invite friends and family to the event in support of this 100+ year old charity. There are sponsorship opportunities in addition to tickets, if any has interest, please let me know.
