As we near the end of the summer it is time to start thinking about your winter plans. Much of our inventory and the inventory of other agents has already been booked for the up and coming 2010 winter season. Most agencies (including ours) are reporting at least 45-50% of their winter rentals booked for the 2010 season. If you have not already made your arrangements for your winter home away from home do not despair. We still have plenty of rentals available and new ones coming on our site weekly. We have homes near the polo club and at several area golf courses. Rentals are still in high demand as short sales and REO’s are taking up the extra glut of rentals that we would normally see. Rental rates will remain the same as last year with landlords asking a bit less than normal due to the tough times that we are seeing. Remember you will have more bargaining power if you stay for several months during the winter or book in off months or shoulder months to January-March. It is a great time to spend the winter in the Coachella Valley with rates lower than a few years ago, so give us a call!
