Two weeks of play in our 4gl league boiled down to Sunday’s final of Dunbar Capital versus Ghurka to claim first place in the Player’s Cup tournament. Both teams played hard defense in the first chukker leaving the score 0-0. In the second chukker Bryan Middleton was quick to score for his team, Dunbar Capital, followed by a penalty 4 conversion to end the chukker 2-0. Middleton struck again in the third with two more goals for his team followed by a goal from Nick Cifuni to put Ghurka on the board, 4-1. In the last and final chukker, Cifuni scored on a penalty 4 conversion followed by a field goal from Drew Luplow to end the match, 4.5 – 3 (half a goal is awarded on handicap).
