Sunday’s final featured two undefeated teams, Tonkawa versus Whitehall Ranch, to claim the USPA Western Challenge title. Tonkawa started the match with a goal on handicap. Toly Ulloa struck first with a pass from Sterling Giannico to score for Whitehall Ranch. Followed by a penalty conversion from Tommy Biddle to lead 2-1 for Tonkawa. The second chukker, Matt Coppola scored with a breakaway play for Tonkawa followed by Facundo Obregon making a goal shot out of the air for Whitehall Ranch, Coppola scored once more to end the chukker 4-2. Biddle went two for two from the penalty line to start of the third chukker followed by two back to back goals from Giannico and Biddle scored again from the line to end the half 6-4. At half time spectators enjoyed stomping divots, sipping complementary champagne and prospective adoptions from Pups and Polo rescue organizations.

To start the fourth, Giannico scored with a booming penalty conversion followed by a breakaway from the bowl in to tie the match up but Biddle converted another penalty shot for Tonkawa to go up 7-6. Whitehall Ranch held Tonkawa to a scoreless fifth and Giannico put in two back to back goals to take their first lead of the game 7-8. In the sixth chukker, Ulloa and Coppola traded goals to end the match 8-9, in favor of Whitehall Ranch.
