“NACHO” IS COMING TO TOWN
There is going to be an 8-goal at Empire Polo for $80 grand if we get 8 teams. We now have 5 and they are moving fast.
It will not be easy, but it will be great and it is something never done in polo before. We will see some magnificent teams in this and you could have one too. Around the polo community there are very few times you can earn money for anything by winning. The Champion’s Cup Tournament is one that you can win money in along with a few other tournaments played around the world. The Champion’s Cup tournament is one to play in. A money game at this level of play has never been available before, so it is brand new. It has become an annual event, so get ready to rumble. Al Haagen is. Down South where the big bucks are in play today, Marc Ganzi and Gillian Johnston meet again in the main event. I’m not sure if Marc is going to be able to play as he was hit hard on his mallet hand on Friday in the 26-goal when they lost to Miss Johnston and Coca Cola, but they also meet again today in the biggest 20-goal of the year, The Ylvisaker Cup. The Tournament is named after “Wild Bill” who was the Founder of Palm Beach Polo.
ERG opens up it’s 26-goal season vs Zacara today as well ERG is 1/2 of the famous Colombian Camillo Batistas Team known as Los Mojitas. Camilo is out with injuries and he is loaning Scott a couple of high-goalers named Astrada, so it could be a very competitive mix. We will know today.
