Nick The Stick is back in town and he has polo on his mind. Nick Roldan was the 2007 MVP of the Pacific Open Championships. He is here in Santa Barbara to replace an injured Paco De Narvaez and he will be in the featured game which should be a dandy. Two of the biggest guns from the Americas will meet in this game and a Bolt named Mannix, the best player in Canada. It should be a wild one as the oldest player on the field will be Andy Busch and he is just a touch past 40 years old. So get a seat and sit back. Watch as Jeff Hall and Fred Mannix, Jr. bring super speed to the field. “Nick the Stick” brings a whole lot of POWER.

Sunday looks to be a power packed day anyway and it starts at 10 am. You can have a super Host and breakfast in the mountains of San Ynez and watch Audi take on Long Beach in pristine settings of Piocho Ranch. Or you can go 30 miles south and watch Double L (Lyndon Lea) & Zacara take on the host of Piocho, who will have to miss breakfast in the mountains as Tom Barrack will be busy playing by the sea. These two patrons last met in the British Open recently. Tom Barrack was in the finals of that one and now they are both on this side of the pond, so it will be fun.

You can take a break, have lunch and get ready for Lucchese and Big John as they take on Mrs. Ganzi and the Grand Champion/Klentner foursome. It will be no walk in the park and it all this leads to Grant’s Farm and speed. Grant’s Farm has the Bolt Mannix, Hall and young gun Cachi Garcia with the main man Andy Busch. They will see “The Stick” at work by Niccholas Roldan. He has 3 Argentine players with him who have been here before. They include: Pablo, Martin and Agustin. They need a win to stay in the hunt and all this is in 1 day. Scott Woods has to be Patron of the Tournament. He plays and gets hurt in the second game of America’s Cup. He tries to sell the team as he is out with a broken arm and surgery on his knee. No takers, so he keeps the team here in Santa Barbara. Then after all this his star player gets hurt in the first game of the PCO and he still stays and brings in Nick Roldan as the replacement. If that is not a good sportsman, than who is? Hats off to Scott Woods!!! Oh yes, he is from TEXAS.

So pack a lunch and a few drinks make the Kid drive and come have a party Sunday.
