Julio and Hana Zavaleta Wedding – January 20, 2013

Guests from all over – Australia, Argentina, Canada, USA, England, France and parts of Mexico – travelled to Costa Careyes Mexico to attend the wedding of long time bachelor and polo player, Julio Zavaleta , and bride, Miss Hana Grill – a very fine Australian polo player . Festivities included a cocktail party at the Castle Oriente, polo game at the fields of Careyes Polo Club and the wedding on the beach at Playa Rosa. Agustin, Clemente and Enrique, brothers of Julio, came from Argentina to enjoy the gala event.
The polo game was a very serious affair with Umpire Luke Tomlinson dispensing tequila from the ball bag of his horse to those who fouled. Brian Boudreau , Malibu, California, played 2 chukkers – his first in over 10 years. The winners was Miss Grill’s team named “Why not get married “of Agustin and Enrique Zavaleta, Clement Gosset splitting with Boudreau and Hana defeated Julio’s team “To all the girls I loved before” . Truly a great day!
