Antelope Jr headed by young Grant Palmer came to SB knowing they had a young team and a good one but it was not like Valiente ., We have best horses best players its over but they did know they had 4 players all minus 30 and were very likely to be good and to date they are very good . beside young Grant who just got his Drivers license but all ready flys helicopters. They have main man Pipe Vercilano,Herndon Radcliff from Alabama and younger Jimmy Wright from the Golden State and well they are as good as supposed to be they rolled through bracket play at 3 and 0 and made a bit if a long day in the finals as they smoked on by the Ranch hands in the finals winning by more than needed . It was on Mothers Day and it was a very ugly day weather wise but no one told Ant. 2 it was a cold day they were smoking from the get go and it was obvious this is a 4 man team. There are no holes here anybody can hit the goal and did often . Geof Palmer Grants Dad does not lose often but I am sure he does not feel bad watching Grant kick A–. The next one starts Friday and it will be interesting to see if success goes to there head . I kind of doubt it as they are tough and young but all have been here before .It was a great start for them and the 12 goal season despite weather still a very good crowd and a old but not that old Patron named Andy Bush from Grants Farm and his new adventure Folded Hills Vineyard sponsored Tournament and Andy has a box full of these 12 goals trophies so it was a fun weekend even without Sunshine .The next one starts Friday and they have Margaritas so be there .
