On a beautiful day about 72 degrees and a full Sun on the Gold Coast with a great crowd it was Geoff Palmer taking on his Son Grant who at 16 is quite a Young Gun anyway he flies Helicopters drives fast cars and loves to run on the POLO fields whether it be in France, the Desert or Santa Barbara and him and a pack of Young Guns did just that on Sunday at the finals Grant is the youngest but the whole team does not add up to 80 yrs I am pretty sure you have young Jimmy Wright behind Grant, Pipi Vercellino the leader of the pack and Herndon Radcliff from Alabama closing the back door . Pappa Palmer has a bit of youth as well with Peke Gonzalez and a new Bullet in town Hilario Figueras son of Nacho both playing extremely well and neither one old enough to vote .
Antelope Sr started out well and held a 2 or 3 goal lead through first half with Papa pouring in several open goals to lead at 1/2 time by 2 but the age caught up as the Guns of Jr’s got rolling in the 4th and never looked back and headed to the Trophy Trailer for the Silver . and winners of the Lisle Nixon 12 goal trophy .
