Thermal, CA (April 11, 2008) – It seems almost fitting that the final weekend of polo for the 2008 season at the La Quinta Polo Club will coincide with desert temperatures expected to hit the ‘milestone’ 100 degrees on Sunday – the first time this year. As the century mark weather-wise is notable, so too has been the second season for Sean Keys and his new venture. To say that the 2008 campaign has been successful would most certainly be an understatement.
The final weekend will feature a two team tournament featuring Keys and his mastermind, Graham Bray, and two as yet unnamed players, taking on Bill Freeman, Jesse Bray, Fergus Gould, and Kimo Huddleston.
The format will feature two games. If a team wins both they will be declared champions. However, if one wins Saturday and the other prevails on Sunday, an overtime period will be played to determine the best.
Game one goes Saturday at 1 PM.
