Audi lost to a flying machine called ZACARA. The perfect part was they fouled 1 time in six chukkers and it was a # 5. The other team by the way was called 15 times + 2 no fouls by the 3rd man. Regardless Audi was no match for The Z’s from start to finish as they were tied once in the second chukker, but it was when they threw the ball in for the third time and Lyndon Lee and camp never looked back. They continued the onslaught as they say (may be misspelled according to Pedro Blanco, Mike and the Poloman from the message board on polozone.com), but it is a polite way of saying a_ _ beating. The best thing for all three of you message board posters (noted above) have to do is to just skip it. I really do not care.

The last half was nothing but power as they tuned up for Sunday, when the game will not be a walk in the park. The weather was great, smoke free for the first time in a while. The sun came out for polo and the Z’s were the only ones creating smoke. Some great team work was evident and Lyndon Lee is gaining ground big time with some new scooters (horses) from Matt Gonzalez’ selection just ask Bolleni.

In game 2 it was a big one for everyone else as if Grant’s Farm/ERG won by 1. It was a 3-way tie twice on w-l and net goals. So it would have went to gross goals which would have draw the #’s counters, but it was not a factor as Piocho Ranch has their big guns on the sideline. Tom Barrack, Sr. is 1 and watching his son TJ, who is rated 0, play with Carlos Gracida (Memo’s brother) because he is 9 goals. With Kris Kampsen for Pedro and Poloman that’s Kris Kampsen playing 7 plus goals all day long they are a very strong team. It was close early as they were tied early in the 3rd and then a couple of big goals by KK (Kris Kampsen) and Carlos Gracida got Piocho Ranch out by 3 by1/2 time. I missed the 4th, but it must have been bad for Grant’s Farm/ERG as when I returned it was 12 to 5. The 5th was close and was won by Grant’s Farm/ERG and the 6th, but it was not enough to stop the Cowboys as they rolled into the finals. So Sunday finals is a repeat of last Sunday, but it will not be the same. It will be hard a** polo by some very good players. You have either Memo or Carlos Gracida, superstars for 2 decades, a veteran Patron in Tom Barrack if he plays with a broken finger and it is on his mallet hand. Otherwiser his son TJ, a newcomer born to run will play in his place. Their real trick is Kris Kampsen, a man on a mission and underrated everyday. Piocho Ranch will face a MACHINE named Zacara , who has no one over 40 playing. They are pushing hard every time they play. Lyndon Lee is new, but no novice. He knows the game and is very aggressive. Ruki is rockin’ and Brandon Philips is a warrior. Their ace is “Nick the Stick” (Roldan). In my opinion, Nick Roldan is the best player in North America when he is playing Polo the old-fashioned way. By old-fashioned I mean by working! So forget last weekend. It really just does not mean anything. PERIOD. SEE YA AT THE P.C.O. FINALS ALSO ON T.V. ESPN IT’S A TRIPLE CROWN FINALS
