Calgary, Alberta (Aug. 15, 2007) – After a delay of several days due to rain, play has resumed in the J.C. Palmer Memorial 12 Goal Tournament.
In their first game of the series, Broward Yachts defeated Cymric Glen by a score of 10 – 8. The loss dropped Dyan Leyshon-Pettigrew’s group to 0 – 2.
The second game for Broward didn’t go as well as they went down to Tusk Energy 12 – 7. The victory took John Rooney’s Oilers to 2 – 0. Broward then dropped to 1 – 1.
Palmer Ranch got their first win as Scott Palmer and his Cowboys nosed out Cymric Glen by a 6 – 5 count. The win gave Palmer a record of 1 – 2.
