Calgary, Alberta (Aug. 22, 2007) – Palmer Ranch, by virtue of a 10 – 9 victory over Tusk Energy in game three of the Gowlings Canadian Open, earned a berth in the Sunday, August 26, 2007 championship game. In fact, the final is now a rematch of the aformentioned third game  as the Cowboy’s victory eliminated Millarville.

With the three teams tied with 1 – 1 records after playing each other, it became a ‘net goal situation’ with Tusk at +1, Palmer even, and Millarville -1.

Tommy Biddle led the winners with four goals (1 foul), Pedro Orellana had three, Nacho Lezica shot a pair, and Scott Palmer supplied a single.

For Tusk, John Rooney scored four, Joe Henderson had three while Todd Martineau and Jeff Hall (a safety) contributed one each.
