MERCEDES-BENZ CAR SHOW TO TAKE PLACE AT OAK BROOK POLO CLUB
Oak Brook, IL…The Chicagoland Mercedes-Benz Club will host a festival of magnificent automobiles at the Oak Brook Polo Club on Sunday, September 9. The Mercedes-Benz Concours d’Elegance will take place throughout the day, with judging and an awards ceremony. Event sponsors are Mercedes-Benz of Westmont and HandM Autohaus, Inc.
Two high-goal polo tournaments will be played, at 1 and 3 p.m., featuring top international professionals, playing alongside local players.
Polo will be played at the Oak Brook Polo Club through Sunday, September 16, when the Argentine-American Chamber Polo Cup will take place. Tickets, available at the gate, are $10 adults; $5 seniors. Children 12 and under and parking are free.
Entrance to the Oak Brook Polo Grounds is at 31st Street (Oak Brook Road) and Polo Drive, one-half mile west of York Road in Oak Brook. Bring a lawn chair for seating. Dress is casual and everyone is welcome. Food and beverages are available for purchase, or spectators may bring picnic lunches.
