Ernie Ezcurra came off the blocks like a sprinter for Hawk Hill, as he has been doing all summer long. Ernie wasted no time in today’s final and scored 3 goals in chukker one and a 4th in chukker 2 to take high score honors with 4 goals. Teammates Jaques and Lara both picked up the pace in the second half to keep Abe Stein’s TLB’s up against the ropes that Ezcurra held them to in chukker one. Fereira and Martinez had moments, however, in this game they needed minutes. They sure had some hustle by the way of Stein and Green. Chris had a beautiful goal in the first, but that is the last good look hawk Hill gave him in this game today. Good luck to Abe Stein who is getting married in two weeks. Congratulations to Philip Mactaggart’s Hawk Hill, who has been a regular this summer at the trophy presentations. Jay Mekeel substituted for Pedro in the semi-finals on Friday.
