Polo is like all other sports you are only as good as today’s game and that will be a big question in Round two of the America Cup today at SB Polo as the two finalist from last week take on new opponents for the first game for each of them after having a bye because they were in the finals just last Sunday. Big questions ? Can ERG keep up their big move last week after mashing Lucchese in the finals and can Lucchese recover their form from the past ? Today will be a test as Lucchese takes on Mansour who is very weak so far but maybe waiting for the big ones, They will have to do it without their Young Gun Jarod Sheldon who was injured just last week in a fall and out for a while . Rumor is Remy is in town to do just that so we shall see but they will face a very hungry Lucchese who seem to be missing their last season form so far. Game two will be can Miguel Torres and ERG keep up their pace? They had a blowout second 1/2 last Sunday and they take on a fired up Audi who have not really shown their power so far todays games are very important for both Mansour and Audi as a loss will eliminate them in this one so I would doubt they will be galloping around you have the best two players in the World facing consolation round next week look for sparks to fly.
Not really right as Lucchese will still have a game to get back in it even if lose today another rumor but probably true is Lucchese is bringing in Julio Gracida at 4 goals to replace Batata who I thought was playing very well but it will add to horse power.
