Sunday was a perfect example of those who do and those who do not play the game as a team and it is usually obvious the first or second chukkar of a game and was it ever Sunday the first game which was not an eliminator so maybe some excuse but I doubt it felt very good getting thrashed by 8 goals in the second chukkar but Grants Farm was defintley taking a Blake fury as he was up and down the field often and in a hurry but the reason he was open so often as usual in this Polo is team work and that includes hitting the ball to the Open Man quick and the man gets open because someone is working for him to get that way and this is team work . I do think a 4 man team like Grants Farm will come around and be just that a bit of a machine soon. The other clobbering was by ERG who is working like a machine at the moment and getting life from all 4 and they thrashed a team that thinks 2 men can win and maybe they can see some light their but at the end of 2 it was like 11 to 2 and going South faster than the US stock market it was so bad that ERG did not even put anyone back because they were not going to hit the ball up to the front anyway. The silly thing is on the Piaget team is the one thing they can do is hit big balls up so why do they try to dribble it ??????
Both Losers yesterday have power hitters and runners and none can handle the ball like AC anyway or GP2 and these two still feed the ball very quick to the open spot and of course they usually WIN.
