Kelly Beal took it to the South and made it to the finals of the 2006 Gold Cup in Argentina. Guess who he had to beat to get to the finals? Adolfo Cambiaso, who just won the second high goal tournament of the Triple Crown called the Hurlingham Open. BTA (Kelly Beal 1, Lucas James 4, Pablo Mac Donough 9, Mariano Gonzalez 8 ) vs. Black Polo Team (Simone Chiarella 1, Adolfo Cambiaso 10, Lucas Monteverde 9, Martín Valent 2) was a great game I guess. BTA won in OT to reach the finals of the Gold Cup where they will play Emerging (Fabien Pictet 0, Hector Guerrero 7, Alejandro Agote 8, Gastón Laulhe 7) headed by Alex Agote who beat young Julio Gracida in the semi Finals on the other side. It seems the rain has stopped and Polo is in full flight down South now and the Palermo Open starts this weekend I think. The Road-runner finished last weekend at Eldorado Polo Club in Indio, CA and the Go Honey starts this weekend.
UPDATE ” We need some Ladies who want to play Womens Polo In Mexico City Nov. 25th and 26th at a very fun Club. It will be great fun and green fees , horses and hotels are all free so call me asap 805 896 4406. It will be a great trip to an awesome Club.
