Polo here was viewed on the Polo/video by the USPA last 2 weeks but they treated us as usual. Video was very weak and sound echoed and they showed little of what is really here, the mountains , Racetrack , Golf – Tennis and the amazing crowds ever Sunday. The inter collegiate started today in the Arena at SB a place made big as it is by John Westley who has a few of these cups in his office wining several titles with Westmont College and Santa Barbara schools . The first game of the year seen a high powered team from Cornell have a real dogfight with Cal Poly but escaped to round two in the end . Action continues early tomorrow with Texas A&M against former LA Star Tom Goodspeeds SMU should be fun not sure why neighbors are playing each other in round 1 but then I rarely understand are Association but that is another Story .
