They came to play Polo the old fashion way 4 players per team and let them run they did all 4 teams were in the hunt . it all got started on Friday afternoon as ; Some of the biggest Stars and Players from around the World were here at Santa Barbara Polo .Dundas headed by Sarah Mangess brought in 2 of the best Sarah Wiseman 8 goals from the UK and with her was Hazel Jackson a 9 goal Lady soon to be 10 they say and may already be in Argentina . Dawn Jones a 6 goal player from Texas brought with her a Bullit from I think Argentina by the name of Lia Salvoalso at 8 at they had a big game on Friday Semis with Dawn Jones and Polo Gear missing to many Goal shots and came out in second place to Dundas to the Rockets from the UK withSarah and Sarah Hazel and a Lady from Indio Named Becky Schaller riding to the finals . As they held off the hard charging Dawn Jones Lia Salvo with Page Beard Anita Wulff .
Game 2 was all about speed and a battle of horses it had Plank and CO. with balance and Power Kendal Plank at 4 goals with Cory Williams also at 4 and two 6 goalers Dayle Fargy from Canada and hard hitting Ina Lalor from Arg, against Timing 18 Nicole Ball at 1 goal Clara Cassino at 7 Goals and Clarissa Echezarreta at 6 goals and Katlin Dix from Spokane what a battle they went 5 minutes into overtime before Dayle Fargy put them away with a penalty shot to head to the finals .all on Sunday morning so the Music could start .
The Consolation finals was a very good game with TIMING 18 getting the Win over POLO GEAR and MRS JONES as the weather got very nice for the Finals of the

DUNDAS Sarah Magness ,Becky Schaller, Hazel Jackson 9 and Sarah Wiseman 8 20 goals taking on also 20 goals PLANK AND CO. WITH Cory Williams 4 , Daylelle Fargy 6 Ina Lalor 6 and Kendal Plank 4 it was all UK ladies for first 1/2 as they actually got out to a 5 to 0 lead I think at 1 time but Plank and Co got 1 back minutes before the 1st 1/2 ended but as Polo goes it is not over until the Fat Lady sings and there no Fat Ladies on the field , they were definitely fit and ready to go all 4 chukkars . After being dominated completely by Dundas in the first 1/2 . A brand new game with Plank down by 4 they had nothing to lose and changed matchups seems like Dayelle to Hazel and Ina to Sarah and forcing them to hit away imediatley Ms Plank became a weapon getting fouls and hammering the ball out to her bullits up front it took 2 chukkars but they got the Tying goal just short of the final bell. So off to overtime . Dundas grabbed it quick but failed at goal and Plank headed North but was stopped and then stopped Dundas with a big run to goal Plank fouled setting up a big # 4 for Dundas after finishing practice with a bomb # 4 Sat it seemed it was over for Plank but it was wide . Knock in as Dayelle and Ina headed North there teamates grabbing the big sticks and with less than 3 minutes left in OT it Was Dayelle finding the post to WIN IT ALL ! and best Playing Pony as well as MVP for the game .
Womens Polo has become the fastest growing part of POLO in the World a DREAM of the late Sunny Hale who was the Master of this plan and luckily there was a lot of interest and Ladies Like DAWN JONES jumped on the wagon and many others have pushed it to the top of the game even in Argentina where the Ladies really had to fight to get it going it is growing like all other Countries . .
