I get a lot of crap about my criticism and that’s ok. Its a simple word, hard to say sometimes, but it has a definite definition which is:
A] A written or spoken opinion or judgment of what is wrong.
B} Spoken or written opinions of disapproval or finally . . .
C} Assessment of creative work of discussions of something. So yes, I have some of all three. I am not afraid to write my criticisms, speak them and I write my name to them. I do it for one simple reason . . . I Love Polo & Horses!
Until we treat polo right, until the players and the horses are well treated, I will always criticize what I do not like. Its simple. It was done in baseball, football, tennis and even Nascar, but God forbid you upset the world of Polo. Well God has not forbidden me yet, so I am doing it. We need to grow our sport and enjoy the sport for what it is . . . fast, dangerous, exciting and expensive.
I may hurt a few people with my comments, but they are only my opinions. I’m not someone who is forcing you to make a tax payment, write a check or make a commitment. If you do not like it then don’t read it or just ignore it. The press is free. Write what you think, speak your ideas and opinions speak it and if you believe in them, put your real name by it. I do not have a executioner or a dime to pay him, I just want real people to play polo and real horses to be able to play it and this is something that does happen a lot in some places.
California has the most land for polo, the most people to play and support it and the most money for it. Yet we have less of it all and we do nothing to stop the burial. See ya.
